Thank you for choosing True Lanka for your travel adventures. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and providing unforgettable experiences in Sri Lanka. If, for any reason, you need to cancel or modify your booking, our refund policy is designed to assist you.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Standard Cancellation Policy:
    • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled tour or service start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
    • Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before the scheduled start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
    • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the scheduled start date are non-refundable.
  • Customized Tours: For personalized or private tours, specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your booking agreement. Please refer to your confirmation email for details.
  • No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive for a scheduled tour or service without prior notification will result in a full forfeiture of the booking amount.

Refunds for Canceled or Modified Tours

  • Tour Operator Cancellations: If True Lanka cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, safety concerns, or insufficient bookings), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to an alternative date or tour.
  • Modifications by True Lanka: If we need to modify your tour itinerary significantly, you may choose to accept the new itinerary or receive a full refund.

Non-Refundable Items

Certain services or bookings are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Third-party bookings (e.g., airline tickets, hotel reservations) unless otherwise specified by the third-party provider.
  • Visa or permit fees.
  • Special event tickets or non-transferable bookings.

Damaged or Unsatisfactory Services

If you experience issues with our services (e.g., accommodations or transportation not meeting described standards), please contact us immediately during your tour. We will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly. If the issue cannot be resolved, you may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to review.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 business days after approval. The refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Any transaction fees or currency conversion charges incurred during the original booking are non-refundable.
